The pond is well sotcked with bass, catfish and bream, and features a fishing dock at each end. A picnic table will be added
to the shady area near the horse trail.
This is a view of the small noisy waterfalls located below the cabin. Similar falls continue upstream where the hammock is
located. A short hike downstream will take you to the reading bench on the river.
The mini-campground is open year round, has six water and electric hookups (30 amp and 110v), fire rings, and picnic tables.
The climate-controlled bath house and laundry facilities are located in the stables. A dump station is located behind the
indoor arena. Pictured here are "buddy sites" #3 and #4. Site #5 is a 60' pull through tandum site with two hookups
for head-to-tail parking. Reservations are recommended, but not required. Contact CJ for rate sheet and availability. All

The horse and hiking trail system consists of a variety of terrain and scenery with picnic areas in many locations and
several thousand feet of frontage on the Grove River. Most of the trails are single-track through the woods. This photo was
taken on the south river trail, which is very flat with sandy footing, perfect for beginners, or for a nice stretch of cantering!

The trails on the north side of the property also have good footing and pretty scenery, but they are more challenging - narrower
single track with lots of curves, elevation changes, and water crossings. The trail sections for intermediate and advanced
riders are marked in yellow, blue bypass trails or the gravel driveways may be preferred by novice trail riders. The link
to download your color-coded map and trail rules is above.
